Hi guys can you give some advice. Have a Midwest Super Stinker 1/4 scale kit in a box. Brand new never open the box. Not interested in the plane any more really getting into 3D flying. What would it be worth and would anybody be interested.

just curious what the specs are on a 1/4 scale super stinker, size wise. i've got plans here for a full size one (along with Model 12, S1-S, -C, -SS :) )

@Bipeguy03 what are the dimensions of the 100cc version?

Bart, pretty sure the Midwest Stinker has a 60 inch span (27%).

The Hostetler 35% has a 75.25 inch span and a 76.3 inch fuse.

If I ever become a rich man, I want to build a 1:1 scale one myself :)

Yes i believe you are correct it is just a tad over 60 inches. Never measured and never opened the box. But reading all about biplane again I am really thinking of having a look and build it this coming winter.

needless to say, i vote :big_yes:

thanks @Bipeguy03 for the info. Is the 35% a true 100cc or is it really 110 or 120? I'd think 75" is actually pretty good at 100cc, no? does anyone cut a kit for it? i've been considering a major plans/kit build for a while now, specifically a Pancoast 96" Grumman Duck but I'm afraid if I start it I'll never finish it. precisioncutkits.com does a short and full kit for it.

a nice S1-11 would be nice too but an entirely different vibe!

Hey @Judge,
Nice looking Prometheus. . . . . . :yesss: I don't mock anyone for the planes they have. There is nothing wrong with flying a foamy. Besides, I've been looking at one of those real hard myself. What is the capacity of your 6S pack? Do you think a Thunder Power 5000 mAh 6S pack will fit in the plane? I'd hate to have to buy new batteries, just for this plane.

Thanks,
David
