So if a DX6i was set to 125% travel and was leaving New York heading west, while a DX8 with 100% travel was leaving Chicago heading east, would they arrive in Toledo in time for the R/C Model Show in April?

I know - really stupid, but in a weird mood and this is discuss anything...I hope..just having fun :D

speaking of servos and endpoints. i already have my rudder pull, elevator and aileron horns connected. should i disconnect them, set my endpoints to max, make sure trim and sub are zero'd out. THEN hook up my horns and then adjust my throws with rates?

Throw will be determined by travel, so use the inner holes in the servo arms if you feel you're getting too much throw. By keeping the radio's travel setting as high as possible, you're maximizing the resolution and precision on the stick. I've never had a case of "too much throw." Any throw above what the manual requires is simply a bonus, in my opinion.

+1 on the bonus. do i pretty much set them in the order above.

John, they were already in the correct and best holes on the arms when I sent them. just max your end points on the transmitter, set your subtrim to level them out, and go fly :p

im not worried about the Osiris :) ol buddy ol pal, i know the guy that built it, i think he has put together a couple BNF's *cough cough i mean he has built one or 2 before this one :p hehe

but the edge i bought it already built also, but i dont really know the guy that did the build. seemed like a good guy(meet him in person) but not really for sure his experience level with 3d planes plus i think he was using a dx6 so on the elevator he used the pholenic (sp?) arms. thought i read not to use those on the dx8,.
