Hey @Snoopy1,

Your little Super Sportster looks AWESOME. . . . :big_yes: You did such a great job of building the cowl around the engine cylinder, I have to ask this question. Do you have enough of an air gap around the cylinder for the carburetor to get the air it needs?
I really do not know for sure but I do believe I have enough. I will find out on the maiden flight. It did work properly when I tested the engine in the garage last night it went to full throttle and help it well, time will tell.

Well flew the Sportster today everything went well and it flew with no surprises. Put 5 flights on it and I must say it flys like Sportster and that's all I can say nothing that plane could not do it was fast powerful and could got straight up till you could not see it could still hear it but it did nothing for me. Nice looking the sound of the four stroke was nice hear again, but will not jumping up down to go and fly it again.

Worked hard all week. Now have the weekend off. Now it's all about me, the flying field all to myself and a certain bad ass Pilot RC Edge. Can't wait for my custom painted to match pilot from G Force to get here. She's kinda naked inside the cockpit.

Yesterday my two friends did a test fly on this Birddog plane. Bob originally built the plane and gave it to Lonnie to cover and put engine and radio equipment in it. A fitting story to this plane is that Lonnie retired from the US Navy as an CW04 with 24 years. In 1975 Lonnie was stationed on the USS Midway, Aircraft Carrier and during the fall of Saigan. A Vietnamese Major landed a Birddog on the carrier. There was himself, wife and their children in the plane.

At least you had a good time building it. :)

Well the day finally came, had to let 2 of my airplanes go to a new owner. My 91" Aerobeez Slick 540 and my 70" Aerobeez Slick Pro.

The new owner came and picked them up today, completely RTF minus receiver. Had many a fond times with them, but it's time to move onto bigger and better stuff. I would be lying if I said I wasn't going to miss them.

I have an idea of what I want next... :sneaky:
