Tanner, I am curious why you don't have linear throw on the rudder?? Both my "Crown Royal" and "Olympic" scheme are perfect on linearity. I did find that you are correct with CG issue though. On my Crown Royal, I didn't have too much problem as I had headers and canisters to help with that. It was still just a tad tail heavy, but I placed the flight packs so that I would have that tail weight. With the Olympic however, stock DLE exhaust and very light 111, I found that it is a bit more tail heavy than I like. Without adding the weight of the canister exhaust I plan to make flight pack extensions and move my flight packs way up front. Not sure if this is going to help much. But the plane only comes in about 26 pounds. She is very light and far more crisp than what I was expecting. I really need to get her out and do some more flying with her. Right now, it's almost spooky responsive. LOL.
The way the rudder servo pocket was designed into the tail did not account for the position of the elevator relative to the position of the rudder horn. So when I gave it down elevator, the elevator hit the rudder linkage. I had to change the whole linkage setup to get it to work properly but the whole design was not done right so it pushes the rudder further to the left than it can pull it to the right.
I'm contemplating whether or not I want to buy the dual SWB rudder tray or just setup the servos hard linked to each other...
