The I'm going out flying thread 2016

I went flying twice this past weekend. I flew a heli for the first time in 29 years Saturday. Flew my Pilot 87" Edge Sunday. I don't think the temp got passed the mid 70's either day.:joyous: Sunday on my way I passed a time temp sign that said 59 and 8:45. Sure beat the triple digits we had two weeks before.

Went flying this morning. Quite breezy here in the valley. But nothing I couldn't handle. I moved the rx. pack last night for better balance. Ugh...should have left it were it was. Think I will put it back and try again. LOL. Still had fun with a Snapasaurus off launch.... and some hovering. Not real easy with being nose heavy. Hence, the move back of the battery.:winking-thumbs-up-s

Finished mine last night...I decided not to use the landing gear and I upgraded the servos to Hitec HS-81... haven't flown it yet but will probably take it with me on the road tomorrow..

I got both my Value Hobby kits on Monday and my only disappointment is that the "red" is actually printed "pink" on both my slick and Yak55. But, for $25 foamies I could hardly care less!!!!

I know what you mean...foamies are cheap and a load of fun...I want to do the airbrush thing/thread with the foamies ... I'm no artist but I can get creative with stencils if have to.....
