Working on adding smoke to a plane for the first time !

Hope you enjoy it, have had smoke on a couple of planes but not anymore. Smoke is hard on planes and covering. If you do not glow engines you will not like smoke. Is nice todo and it looks great but there is a lot of maintenance that goes with it. If this is your first time take a bottle of windex and a roll of paper towels. It takes some work to get the oil ratio correct. If I may suggest start with very little oil. Fly the plane see how it looks and then increase it every flight. Keep an eye on the amount of oil on the plane and stop when you happy with the smoke trail.

Harbor Freight 7 x 12 got it on sale plus 25% off. Needed some minor adjustments to true it up.

Have a Unimax 7 by 24. But looking for a new one. Like to have a gearbox on it and be able to put 1inch stock through the head.

Once again fixing wheels. These super light wheels do not last long. New plane at the beginning of the year. Wheels are shot massive wheel wobble had to ream out the wheels press some bushings into wheels so they fit work properly again.

Spent the evening covering again. I got both bottoms of the wings done, and got started on the top.

Must say like the bottom of the wing the green stripes on the black and white squares looks really good.

Got two props drilled today for my DLE55 on my sukhoi. Guys looked at me kinda funny when I came walking through the gate with them.

Changed the deans connectors my flight packs and on the booma rc switch over to EC3 style like I use on everything else

Also made up a fuel filler port but more on that later once I get it installed to see if it works out ok.

Nice, been working on the aileron and flap turn buckels. So far I have all eight turned and right hand threaded clevis completed. Forgot needed to order left hand tap and die 4-40. I guess I will do that this evening.
