The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

That looks good but for just an air baffle why would you build it so sturdy, out of light ply. Like the engine have you run the engine and what do think of it.
I will be needing wwight up front so I figured I would make it usable weight as much as possible. I will be posting completed baffling pictures tonight.

I haven't ran the 195 yet, but have a 180 on a 3dhs 330lx with JMB cans that is ballistic with a Mejzlik 30 x 13 EVO 3 blade on it :)

Time will tell one of the boys at the flying club has perched a Cnc cutter that uses a 1/8 carbide cutting tool. Hopefully he will cut the parts for me if not it will be done by hand.

That would be cruel for you to cut by hand .
One of the pilots in the NW regions cuts his kits PNW Extra, with a laser cutter , that why i asked !

That will be very disappointing. I will think a long time before I go down that road. If I have to cut all that by hand i may not do it. It is to much work to invest into an old plane time will tell.

Got some new toys in the office to evaluate. I think the best way to evaluate is to go flying... ;);)

Be interesting to see how it all works out. I agree all the baffling that I have had to do have been difficult to do neatly. Also interested in what you think f the 195.
