Started making the exhaust for the dummy cub engine. Boy copper sure has gotten expensive. 30 bucks for a few small 1/4" fitting's

It all looks nice but you keep adding weight all good if you need nose weight.

Well pulled out the big stick 150 getting it ready for flying. Check the gas tank and the three batteries and cycled them looking good. Pumped up the tires and all is good. Now all I have to is drag it up from the basement up into the garage without killing my self or the plane.

The weight is of no concern. I had removed almost 10oz behind the fire wall any way when I swapped out engines. The 3oz the exhaust weighs still lets me have a weight reduction of over 1/2 pound .

Finished up the Cub exhaust today. Painted it satin metallic nickel. Also found some paint that matches the yellow on the Cub. So in the not to distant future the bottom side of the plane going to get it .

Super otter got some attention lately. Decided to make a balsa cowl... pretty tricky. Lots of balsa dust in the air this evening.

Making use of the balsa you got. Did not realize that there was also large blocks included that sure was a lucky find.
