I had to fix one of the N-struts. The mounting tab came loose the last time I flew it. It's an easy fixClean everything up real nice with some sand paper. Remount it in the wing and re solder. I put a piece of masking tape under it to protect the covering. Got out the matching house paint and it's fixed. LOL.



Have our Chapter 48 IMAA Fly in this saturday. IMAA don't exist anymore so we will see where that will take us. The Fly In is still a go.

Tomorrow is going to be what used to be the "IMAA Chapter 48 Fly In" Even if it's not IMAA, it's still happenning. I will take the Fokker my PAU Edge and my Camera. Should get some pictures to post. Stay tuned. :)

OK. So I lied. I forgot my camera. Did take a picture with my Cell phone. My friend Joe took some pictures. Hopefully he'll email them to me and I can upload them.



Not a big turn out. 12 pilots. It was cold and windy. I flew and had a great time. Guess some people thought it was to cold.

Chilly and windy today too, where I'm at. I think the high was around 65 today, with winds around 15mph.



Just confirms to me what is coming next............

Here are some pictures that Joe Bays took yesterday. It never got into the 60s here and the wind was cross wind at 15mph. "BRRRRRR" My hands actually got cold while flying. :)I got hot and tired trying to start the ZDZ40. Mike Sharp stepped in to lend a hand. I had to ritchen up the low end and then it started every time after that.The cross wind landings were fun. The plane stops on a dime when you turn it into the wind. No problem landing but you had to shut it off where it stopped and pull it back to the pits. A lesson I learned with a $120 prop at an IMAC meet. LOL.
