Yippee! What the postman brought

I just finished up the fourth battery through it. I have not timed the flights but they last a good while. The last flight I was doing some flying through tree openings, under and around a swing set. It is just a nice, easy, and relaxing plane.
I almost forgot to mention, with partial flaps I can walk along with it, and it takes less than 20' to be air born and even less to touch back down.

The fabric showed up today but I can't say when I'll get back on covering the Challenger.

One thing about these fomies they are excellent flyers. My flying buddy has one. And the cost to get into the air is cheap and have a good aeroplane to boot. I have to say it if I bang up my winter plane the tundra will be my replacement.

Two more through it. It is just so easy to stick the battery in and play for 10-15 minutes.

I got the Timber. Pretty much the same thing. Great for the GoPro as a stable aerial platform!

Very cool! I have a mobius and made the mount earlier. Maybe take some aerial from home tomorrow afternoon.

Cool! I can imagine a title like “Can you do this with your Tundra?” Almost the same as “Hold my beer and watch this”!

Seriously, you guys are having entirely too much fun and I’m now officially jealous. Guess I need to decide between a Timber or a Tundra.

Yeah it’s a ton of fun. On a 2200mah 3S when I was running a 13x6 prop I was getting a 8 minute flight with about 25% left in the battery when I would land. That’s with pretty mild flying. Great thing with my taranis is I have a percentage based timer so if I fly harder it counts down faster it really doesn’t matter how I fly the timer will always tell me to land with pretty much the same capacity left in the batt.

Next time out I am not only going to get some aerial video but want to try and fly through the front lean-to of the shop. That same day I may be ordering another one.LOL

Video is not worth a didly, prop is in the way. Chickened out on the fly through of the shop but did do a quick touch and go off the house. Woo Hoo! This thing is just to much, might go looking for a Laser or Extra in the same range.
