Really excited. Like a kid on Christmas eve can't wait for tomorrow . Went ahead and filled the tank, plugged in my tac and choked the engine. Flipped it 4 times and saw fuel get drawn through the fuel line . But I won't let temptation cause really bad judgment.
Tomorrow will come soon enough. Did check over things and it looks like a go .

Thanks David but I sure could have used some good luck. Things did not go as planned but in the end the engine ran great.

Have not got much else done to the Extra at the time being but wanted to post up some temps on the DL50. Simply running the engine with a starting point tune ( 1.5 turns out on the HSN and about 1.5 turns out on the LSN) I would run up the engine between 4 and 5K for about 30 seconds and then get a reading on the backside of the cylinder. I kept the idle high at about 2K. Would let it run at idle for about a minute to cool down. This was easily done because of the weather being ideal 71*F RH 56% and lots of sunshine.

Schedule??? Me on a SCHEDULE!?!? Still have to get the stabs and wings done. I have been busy cleaning the exterior of my home and white washing the CMU block . Weather has been good for getting it done but I am so SLOW these days . Hoping for a maiden in a couple of weeks though.

Sure thing Rob and thanks for the kind words. I did get some things corrected in the fuse tonight. Moved the rudder servo lead to the right side and away from the 3 remote receiver leads. These leads were causing interference with the rudder servo! ( jittering at neutral and during travel ). Once I moved it ( rudder servo lead ) rudder worked perfectly. Strapped the flight batteries down with two zip ties vice one. They were shaking a bit too much for my liking when I ran the engine. Also got the motor box cover on and programmed the telemetry to read the actual usage of battery power / capacity in mah. These spektrum systems are pretty darn nice .

Well it is on to the stabs!.....Now that all the "adjustments" and nik-nak stuff in the fuse are done. Some nik-nak stuff needed outside the fuse like adding covering so the cowl paint lines up with the covering. It is a really big cowl for this size plane and it does not look like an Extra 330sc cowl . But hey....Who Cares??? As long as it flies decent I B .

Have you noticed the 330 seems like a bigger airframe all the way around for the same size as her counter parts. i.e., 300, 260.
