40 size speed/sport plane.
Ok got all the parts back from the CNC cutting person and all looks good . Just have to separate everything clean it up a little and start making some sheeting for the wing. Nothing much to see right now but as parts start to take shape I will take some pictures.

Made a little progress today, sheeting is all done and 54 inches long. Also all the small parts and the ribs are ready to be installed and to make a wing.

Hey Snoop, doing ok here. Just starting to get back into the hobby and thinking about building another shop.
Wow when you were last with us I thought you had just rebuilt your shop. But if you are building a new workshop that’s great. So hopefully you are getting some interest back into RC planes and flying again.

Yep, I had just finished my shop, more or less, but that was the old place, before the drama. I have a shed here and am thinking of fixing it up into a shop.
I have recently got back to flying and even made some repairs on a Laser, of which I used the toyhauler to work in. So, if all goes well, maybe sometime over the summer I will get back to finishing up one of the Pitts.

Did something I have never done before prepared the trailing sheeting. Then added 2oz cloth to the inside of the balsa sheeting. But because it is on the inside I need it to have a good gluing surface so I add peel ply cloth over top of the Fibreglass and rolled the peel ply cloth into the Fibreglass with epoxy until the peel ply cloth is saturated. This will do several things for me, when the peelply cloth is removed I will have clean surface with no glaze or epoxy waxes on the surface. It also puts cloth on the inside so it will easier to sand and cover over balsa wood. Next big advantage is on the trailing edge it will help make the aileron much stiffer and also help when being cut out of the wing.
Sorry for being so long winded.
