Good choice on the tail gear. I really like the J&J tail Wheels. White rose has a very nice setup. However I have found that their tail gear is just as noisy as their main Wheels. Call me anal, I just don't like extra growling noise when taxing or Landing.

You are welcome. Anyting to help you guys. As for the Airman Wheels, I can only relate my own personal experience. I feel the quality is just as good if not better than white rose Wheels. Again, that is my opinion. One thing I will state for fact, is the Airman wheels are much quieter than the...

Very interesting information. I've had my 157cs for 6 years now. Probably well over 26 actual air hours. She's still gaining horse power with no heating issues. But then I dont race the engine. Kind of odd for me, i would think removing some of the cooling fins would increase temperatures...

I can't say anything about the reason why 5% of the fins was removed. But I disagree with you on 3w engines running high in temperatures. I have a number of 3w engines ranging from 70cc twin all the way up to 212 cc four cylinder. I don't have any issues with temperature at all. But then again...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Oh yippie.... So the post (LADY) hammered on my door with a rather resounding "WHAM, WHAM, WHAM". Worked a little on the big Stang stab/elevators today. I didn't get as far as I wanted to, but what little remaining work needs to be done I should be able to knock out in an afternoon. Ok, not an afternoon. But a solid day should do it.:yesss: As planned, I started with slotting the elevator...
