    Yes the USB can charge your transmitter battery. I've done that several times when simply attached to my computer for data transfers and just left it plugged in to finish charging. :) As I understand it, the transmitter charging circuit has its own built in voltage refulator.

    Agreed. My previous system was a 14SG and that's what I did. Two receivers with custom channels. I split the aircraft functions AS DESIRED between each receiver. ;)

    The JETI DS16 uses dual transmitters with each paired to its own receiver (2 on board) connected to a Central Bus. Complete redundancy with one set functioning as primary and the other as a "back up". Good stuff. True redundancy. :)

    Love mine too! It's the DS-16 which is identical...almost. In any case it fits great in the hands. It WILL feel heavier than any standard plastic radio. It's like "real" jewelry versus costume in my opinion. Serious quality. If you already use a neck strap then it might feel a bit heavier...
