    Viton tubing

I use aluminum tubing for everything except the fill line to the tank and Viton clunk line in the tank. I use 1" pieces of Tygon to connect from the aluminum line to the tank and carb. .

Will this get me banned elsewhere?

I attended an IMAC contest this summer. The hosting club (no names) has a FG decal in the Port-A-Potty urinal. Gives you something to aim for.

    Header tape

My Da170 kept blowing holes in the flex tape. Last year when I had the engine and pipes off I soaked and cleaned the headers then filled the flex grooves with copper RTV. After it dried I made 3 wraps with that thin metal tape the Htg. and Air people use on vents (not sure what it's called)...

    Header tape

Yours will not need any tape to seal the flex portion. Most do. Are those DLE?

    Gimbal Stick Ends

I have the ones from Aztec Aero on my TX. If your thumb slips off you will leave skin on the gimble.

    Oil debate

It does have a fuel stabilizing additive. I've run it exclusively in all my gassers and when ever I get a chance to peek in the exhaust ports, everything looks shiny and new. I use Viton on my clunk line. Everywhere else I use a metal tube and then about an inch of the Chinese fuel tubing to go...

Not that I know of but I haven't been out to the field for several weeks. He is flying today so I may stop in and check. Knowing Wayne, he probably hasn't even started putting it together. He is your exact opposite when concerns speed.

Acetone does a good job. Nothing will get all of it though.

    Hangar 9 3.1M Sukhoi

Not to mention 20-30 minute charge times for the A123s. Though they come hot off the charger at 7.2v they drop to 6.6 in a matter of minutes.

I don't like regulators. High failure point. A123s deliver much, much more power than Lions.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

I am in the process of selecting new wheels for my plane. I'm thinking about springing for a set of 5" six spoke White Rose wheels but I am a little leery of the titanium axles. I have heard of and seen more than just a few that have snapped and not only on rough landings. I'm thinking I might...

    Wind Correction Recommendations

To thicken the mud a little, in the hammer you must "uncorrect" before the stall. The plane must not show any pitch or yaw before rotation. 1/2 point for 5 degrees either way.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Older guy that has taken up photography showed up at the field. He wanted to practice on my plane for taking bird pictures. He was using a very high shutter speed and took 120 photos of that one flight.
