    Pilot RC 107" Extra 330SC

I hear ya'! Most of the flights I've put up in my life I put up in the afternoons at Livermore, CA. It was always blowing at least this hard. :) Those cardens did handle the landings easier than my floatie Pilot RC, though. haha

Not too much new after doing the 122"... but I've learned a couple of things about Pilot. I'm cutting the hinges out and installing twice as many Robart hinges. The hinges on the ailerons and elevators on my 122" started to fall apart after less than 10 flights. The rudder hinges are stout but...

Joe Smith's GP-123 looks good in that video, but I have had a DA-120 sitting here NIB for a few months. I think I'm actually going to run stock mufflers for once. :O lol I have a Mejzlik 28-12 and a Menz 29-10 coming for it... what do you fellas think? This is my first DA-120.

I was going to get some more mph83t mIIs, but at the last minute I called Kim and asked him what he was running on his plane at the event. haha

    Pilot RC 107" Extra 330SC

I'm really moving on this ARF now... I mounted the rudder servos. haha I see Joe Smith likes the purple scheme too: I am going to soak all the joints with thin CA because these planes are basically not glued together (just a little hot glue). Still no 9380s (I have two for the elevators...

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Flew in a t-shirt until 6pm... not a breath of wind... this plane really loves no wind... anyway, it was awesome. Funny, I now have as many flights on it with a red hatch as I had on the stock scheme. lol Fly until you need to use your IBEC light to find your plane. haha

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Oh, and the two batteries handled the 9 flights with 14 brushless servos and the ignition (through an IBEC) and had plenty to spare.

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Well, I put 9 flights on this plane this afternoon. I've done all I can with the gear to keep it from being tailheavy, but it's still tailheavy. I flew it around on low rate the first flight and did some IMAC maneuvers and was thinking how the plane was pretty clumsy. The throttle curve was...
