    The "Chinese" Connection

The unrest in Hong Kong has to do with local elections, and has no effect on what happens with manufacturing on Main Land China. Our productions continue in most normal fashion.

Welcome to our new home for forum support...PAU

We tried the one piece canopy/hatch, and ended up with extra weight. I prefer doing a little extra work gluing the canopy on and saving the weight.

Clover Creek 3rd Annual Fly In

John, I am coming next year! I wanted to come this year, but it is just too soon: I am still trying to get organized here in Florida. Next year is a must!

    Pau extra 300 100cc

I guess it's a probability question: I lived around centipedes (large!) all my life in Tahiti and Hawaii, and never got bitten. Love bugs are in your face, and glued to your car, for sure twice every years. Centipede is painful (like a bad bee sting), but normally not dangerous... then...

Thanks, and no offense, but I thinks I'll stay down here: 60 degrees is COLD for me!:smile-new:

    Pau extra 300 100cc

No, just a very mild cross wind. The only outdoor issue at the moment is the "love bugs". If you never experienced them, google Florida love bugs... Luckily, they are supposed to only come out twice a year for a couple of weeks.

    Pau extra 300 100cc

Way to go! Thanks for sharing. Yesterday, I finally had a chance to fly a whole flight. First chance since the 2013 Wenatchee Huckfest, over a year ago! Of course, I went back to my old trusty 100cc Extra: 3 year old plane, new filed close to my new location in Florida, and that was fun!

    3D PAU 100cc EXTRA 300sp

All versions should have it; we recommend two servos if you use push-pull: if only one is used, given the high speed and torque of current servos, it can damage the hinges from the "pushing" action.

    DA #1 Customer Service

I have a 170 in my 42% Extra with stock mufflers, and I have no problem. This engine is probably at its best on tuned pipes.

How much weight is that adding? Tip on the canopy: the top of the hatch inside the canopy can wrinkle, and I cannot get the iron to it. I have been removing that part of the covering, and painted it flat black

How did you get or come up with your user name?

I am not very original either: I was born and raised in Tahiti, and was living and flying in Hawaii when I made it up.

The one on sim is the old version. The new version is a hair heavier, same flying surfaced, but wider, taller fuse, more scale. The 540 T and 540 Single seat will both be back in stock a few weeks (should be mid to late October)

The Real Flight program for the 36% Edge was developed by Chris who owned one of these planes. He made it as close as he could to the one he had: his had a DA-100. I personally flew the prototype (the one used for the graphics on the sim, with all the screws around the canopy). Mine was...

Why do you love this hobby?

For me, is was somewhat of a family thing too: when I was about 7, my older brother (16) had a Cox .049 control lime Spitfire he could kind of fly, but soon crashed. I immediately knew I had to have one of these later. A year later, my older brother and our father started to fly full scale...

I'm on my way but, I don't know where I'm going.

John, Nice to see you here! You sound just like me! I have been on my way for for a long time, but I am still not there, and I don't know where "there" is anyway! Ha! Ha! I want to thank you for all you do for the young guys out there, like Dean and Kal in particular. Are you...
