Yes. many charge through a switch but for high current charge you need to use your deans plug. A lot depends on what plug on the pack you use and power set-up location. I always use the deans plug to a smart fly or a powersafe RX for the current capability of the High amp plugs. I then...

No problem.. I hope I remebered right. If not it was not much more. I did start out with 2x 2500 mah packs in my plane but felt better with the 5000MAH. If I push the airplane really hard I have the reserve. The large control surfaces and larger plane can burn more energy for sure.

Most chargers I have saw besides cell pro you have to use power and balance to balance charge. If charging through the balance plugs the JST/xh plug is good to 3 amps in the real world it seems. The wire is good for way more but the plug is the limiting factor.

correcto:) 7.2 volts off a fresh charge. Turn your switch on and move a surface and off to 6.6 volts up to a 120AMP 10 second load.

Depends on your flying style. I have 2 5000 MAH a123 in my 126" yak. It has 2x 1230 savox on the rudder, and 6 1231 on the rest including a digital savox on the throttle all into a smart fly. The ignition is pulled off one of the jr para plugs on one of the 5000 MAH a123 into a rcexl...

still love the A123's for constant current and flat discharge. You always get the same performance and checking voltage is no big deal as they can handle high charge rates making charging a non-event. The chemistry is 100% safe. I accidently over discharged an a123 packs under a current load...

Just soldered up a new prototype. These will go into production soon. Gotten calls for a while for a balance charge solution for inside your plane. Many customer mount their rx battery packs in locations you cant get to conveniently or simply charge with the canopy on. This harness...
