    Now onto the challenge. "FOLDING WINGS" Wasn't really sure how to approach this one but I think that I'm on the right track with it. I've made the hinge line and got the tips folding but I still need to figure out the mechanics of it. I also had to put it somewhat together just to tease myself

    Moving onto the wing, with having the Sierra gear, the wing ribs need alot of material removal to make them fit so I decided to laminate fiberglass between the plywood rib reinforcement.

    I picked up a Vics rc fiberglass fuselage with Sierra retracts this past summer. Got the laser cut kit for the winter build. I did finally start the build with the horizontal stab and elevators so I thought I'd start to share a little progress.

    I use auto-air colors. there really user friendly and are compatible with most clear coats. they have a huge variety of colors and are so easy to mix.

    This is my own designed and built Grumman bearcat. this is a very old picture. I had to pull duty one night and Ft. Campbell and decided to draw up some plans for a Fokker Triplane through the night and this is what I come up with. 1992 Powered by an OS 40FP

    This is my recover of a great planes Pitts M12. Sky blue monokote and hand mixed auto air colors paint. unfortunately, this plane met it's demise this spring. Improper maintenance on my part. That's really frustrating.
