    Auto-air paints

    Looking for anyone else using this paint system and any tricks or tips they would like to share. I find it to be an incredibly easy paint system to use and will accept more clear coats on the market. It's also extremely easy to mix colors as well. below is a pic of my Great Planes Pitts M12...

    Painting a prop?

    Here's the last prop that I painted. I use autoair paints. there water based and can accept many different clear coats including rattle can clears from the hardware store or automotive clears. Very user friendly and easy cleanup. also does not smell.

    here it is on it's gear, I also made a quick release hatch instead of bolting it down everyday. I did this to my 50cc edge and it worked really well. Hoping the same here.

    Here's a couple of pics of what I've done to the tail of my extra and also part of the new color scheme. Yes it was a beautiful model as is but I just had to add some of my own touches to it. I also have most of the fuselage ready, I just need to finish the wings.
