Dang, that's too bad. I don't look forward to the day when I am no longer capable of flying. I know a number of hard headed and stubborn guys that really "SHOULD" have hung their flight jackets by the door many years ago. Unfortunately they will not listen to reason or logic. They crash a plane...

I liiiike it. Only 549 with free shipping. Hmmm... Checking availability. I am thinking very seriously on getting one. I know, I know... it doesn't say Pilot on it and it doesn't have a beasty sexy red head in it. But still cool all the same.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

So the new 330 is what I chose to program the new MZ 32 on. I spent about an hour and a half this morning just looking at first through the multitudes of menus and functions of each. Wow! Sooo much more versatility than I've been accustomed to with the A9x. Getting familiar with it was much...

So how did the "Nosen" fly? I had one that I was close to finishing before life and raising kids alone happened. I have seen a few videos and all I can say is I hope the DS flies better than the Nosen appears to. Then again, it could have just been the pilots. I found a couple of videos that it...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

So I delved into the MZ 32 tonight. I figured it won't program itself. Damn radio can do everything else, why can't it program itself? LOL. I figured I would start with something really basic. Like naming my first model into the radio. Any guesses fellas? Anyway, got that easy enough... then I...

The postman cometh....and bringeth forth good tidings and great joy. "ANNNND", more new toys. And that be all that matters. :way_to_go:

Yes it is. I would love to have an F-14 Tomcat. One of my most favorite jets. Hey, maybe I will take a look at the price of them. LOL

So you remember Paul Harvey right? Well, here is the rest of the story. Fact is, Hitec actually was in the process of releasing an all new Aurora 16. Yes, 16 to upscale the 9x. I can now at no risk of letting out any secrets relay what I learned nearly two years ago. A certain individual swore...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Dude, there is a lot to be said of the "All wise and all knowing Owl". So.....does this mean I can ask my new MZ 32 how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop?

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Well, I don't know much about it yet. But I am sure my learning curve is going to expand exponentially in the real near future. First, hardware wise it seems so sweet. The gimbals are in fact all aluminum and quad bearing with hall sensors. From an aspect ratio compared to my what I feel rather...

Um, ever hear of pontoons? Hee hee. I don't blame you brother. No one wants to go wading for a sinking ship. I wouldn't risk it either. Good call.

I would normally agree with you Mike. But seriously, these foam planes have become just as expensive as the balsa built up planes. Yikes, I have seen them as much as 800 dead washingtons. That is plumb crazy. Then again, I am sure the twisted edge will be fine.

I had one of those ya know? LOL. Don't know if it was the same series, but here it is. Thanks... From what I am seeing so far, there just isn't anything it "won't" do. But time will find out. I would hate to think I could have achieved the same results with a 100 dollar transmitter. Ugh. A...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I really understand your feelings here. Going back a number of years, I was so Futaba it wasn't funny. Dang they had some good radios. Then Hitec stepped up their game with the 2.4 module for my Futaba 8auf. Man, did we think we were cool then! Of course adding the Hitec 2.4 module made us...

So here is what the MZ 32 looks like with different....umm, wigs. I am thinking the Gold would look pretty nice. Course I could stay with the red to match all my red heads.:way_to_go:

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I did in fact have an MZ24. I just could not acclimate to it. I think I was looking for excuses to "not" like the Graupner. So I sold it. But with Hitec "NOT" releasing a new radio to fit our demands, I....I....I, well I jumped ship. They forced me to walk the plank and I jumped. The 32 actually...

No photos yet. Who ever said that vacation time is to relax. Ugh. I think I am going back to work so I can have some peace and quiet. LOL. But until I make it to get some photos, how about these videos from Memorial Day last year. The two P-40's are from the museum here. The "B", (Boise Bee) is...
