    ok so this is not a full blown build log but i did a time lapse of putting together my 89 slick which is sort of fun to watch. this plane was a raffle prize my 7 year old won at xfc this year. it's been really fun putting it together and letting him buddy box on it!

    You register through the AMA website. You can print and mail in your registration or if u call the AMA they will let u register over the phone also.

    I don't think there is any requirement other than having an imac plane and registering before the deadline in the class you want to compete in. We went this year and had a great time.

    i know everyone has different opinions on setups but most of my flying buddies have used regular receivers without any power distribution systems (smartfly, powerbox, etc...) we now have a 50cc and 100cc plane both are running dual batteries and unregulated two cell lipos to high voltage...

    IMAA is no longer...

    sad to hear. my son and i won a membership to imaa a couple of years ago at joe nall. seemed like a nice bunch of folks. i enjoyed the magazine. never made it to an imaa event other than joe nall.

    we had such a good time at the event. already looking forward to next year. not sure how many of you guys facebook but videos of all the freestyle flights are posted in the on the deck facebook group. you should really watch the top two flights at least. they were both great.

    field is looking great for the fly in. we flew there yesterday and it was nice having the place all to ourselves but we are looking forward to the event. should be a great time for everyone.

    Look what was under the tree for me!

    We took the 104 out once so far. Evan says it is great but that I'm not allowed to fly it.... My Christmas present was an airplane trailer from my dad and it's awesome! Even fits in the garage
