Back in my glow days, I bought my 1 and only CAP 232.. my local hobby store had bought out another company's inventory and was selling them pretty cheap. I got the plane off the ground on the maiden, it was snapping around like crazy (probably took off too soon), and wound up crashing beside...- reyn3545

Prop Rip
My previous MX-2 had a 3-blade and cans on a DA170. If another plane was flying, you couldn't hear mine at all unless you got into the upper RPM range. My new MX-2 has a 3W 157CS TS and 3W cans.. seems much louder on the ground, and I haven't gotten it to the field yet. I like a very quiet...- reyn3545

It is a real nut-check when you fire up the dremel, but I agree..... I'll never do a 1 piece cowl again. On the Pitts, if I screwed it up, I would have to order a complete fuse, but it turned out well. Yours looks great.- reyn3545
