IMAC Israel first contest for 2015

I sure miss ya'all that's for sure ! This year I spent all my funds for EU contests in the UK and CZ just to get a good hold in IMAC before the next NATs and worlds. This week I got good news from the old lady, 2017 before the next worlds we're going to do the same routine NATs and then Worlds...

First 100cc and IMAC dedicated plane

From my point of view H9 Extra EF Extra Both are awesome. But if you can put your hands in Krill Extra 35% do it nothing flys better than a comp plane unless you build it from scratch and add your magic to it.

    To drain or not?

I never drain. Always keep about a quoter in the tank. When I come to the field I just kill switch the ignition put the throttle on full flips the prop 3 times then I turn on the ignition put the choke on throttle on idle and start the engine in the same method you all do. Works like a charm...

Show us your cowl exit air pics

The round cowl can really make wonders. Sometimes you just don't need to do all the cuts and trims with it. I guess it's does have a connection with the engine and oil ratio your using. Cans also help the process.

Show us your IMAC transmitter setups

I fly with the 14XG I don't like to flip switches at all so the only switch I flip is for the rollers and hammers(same one) So, I fly in only one condition which is a snap condition. On top of that I just connect all my mixes and other conditions which are logic. Some are being turn on by the...

    3D Hinges for Removable Rudders?

I love the flat one. Did use it and they work awesome. Don't forget to bind them all together when you glue them to the fin and rudder.

spinner or no spinner for better cooling?

I fly a Krill SU 29 37% and there was a time that I flew it with and without a spinner. There is a huge difference for the spinner. Didn't know that till I went back to fly with that especially in a very hot day we had. Use a spinner.

How long to let an engine warm up?

To make the engine worm the first flight of the day I just nail the throttle stick after the engine starts in the middle position for 15 sec' after that I play with the stick up and down a little bit to get is wormer, 3 - 5 sec full throttle and to the air. It still spits gas through the cans...

    Plane Restraint

Nylon webbing around the rudder and one stab. Works like a charm, easy to use and detach, simple. Just find a pole and tie it and if there isn't any one nail it to the ground.
