Putting the Scale back in Scale Aerobatics

My great respect to a all IMAC pilots world wide. As an IMAC pilot I think IMAC is all about flying...and friends. and not just any flying, it takes you every day you FLY to new breaking levels flights. You can see it by the first ever sequence that was flown and the ones we have now. All...

    Thrust, questions, engine mounting.....

From what Ive learned and do, when you check the up and side thrust, you usually move the engine 1-2 degrees so, it not always align. All my ARF planes, never had an aligned cowl because of the thrust angle, different engines, different props, heck, when I change the prop from 31-12 to 32-12 I...

    Fuel Tank plumbing question

Parallel tanks like parallel batteries. It work the same way the only thing that is missing is a "tank share":-) Guys, no need to worry the benefit is bigger than one big tank.

    Fuel Tank plumbing question

Parallel is the only method that will work with two big high volume tanks. The series method is good when you have one big and one small. Parallel method will make you actually work with two tanks there is no issue with the air sucking cause both are almost equally being drained.

    Fuel Tank plumbing question

Only in a parallel way, nothing other than that. You'll need T fuel plugs. See this thread, http://giantscalenews.com/threads/dual-gas-tanks.1764/

    Ignition Switches

The perfect match for me was always the SmartFly Engine cut off and the Badger switch. so you can have both mechanical switch like the Badger or one that can be controlled by the transmitter, the SmartFly. You can split them, make them work together, very simple very easy nothing complex.

    JR XG11 and RG1131B Receiver

Are you sure there is no Rx capability from the telemetry antenna ? I thought there is. I see that Ryan is using the Xbus method, what do you think, despite the fact that you're using double RX. Is it worth the investment or would you keep working with a power bus like Smart Fly ? Where do you...

    JR XG11 and RG1131B Receiver

The antennas, all of them the boda and the sat, should be in 90 degrees from each other. Being said, one to the right, one to the left and one should be up or down. If you're flying a balsa plane there is no need to expose the antennas out from the fuse but, if it's composite with allot of...

IMAC practice tips for new pilots.

I hear you... So here is another advice that can relate to any other sport competition. Be CONSTANT what ever it takes you don't need to get straight 10s every time(I'm talking about a long run comp not a 100m run, which is a different story) the strive for straight 10 all the time will make...
