    IMAC Written Call Sheets

Couple other things new to Sportsman from Basic is cross box - where the figure moves you 90 degrees out (or in). The last maneuver in figure 4 is the 2 of 8 (two 1/8 rolls) that can take you either in or out (normally out, unless you are really out and need a correction to bring you closer in)...

You just have the first figure noted, correct? If so, it looks reasonable. Just depends on how much information you want to be provided during your round. You’ll want to make sure the 1/2 roll on the 45 down is centered on that leg. BTW, congrats on moving up to Sportsman. Will be fun! I moved...

Your calc is correct. Their units must be wrong. I also subscribe to the feel method others have described here. Only time I break out a torque wrench is to tighten the heads on a Detroit diesel. And haven’t done that since the late 90’s.

I repaired a cowl after it was damaged in shipping. I would suggest taking some of finishing epoxy resin and mix it with cabosil until you get a mashed potatoes like consistency. Then fill in the holes from the outside (you already have the structural on the inside with the cloth you used) using...

Yep, Snoopy beat me to the question. I also look forward to the flight report and performance. @49dimes , Will you do a with and without the filter test run? You guys both have some pretty creative ideas!

    Happy Thanksgiving

Since it’s been a while Kelly, don’t forget to pull that sack out from inside the bird before you throw it in the oven! Haha! Though, I have to say that your ritual sounds pretty darn good!!

Yep, that’s why rear exit sucks. And @Snoopy1 is reason why front exits suck. :devil-dance:  Nice job making it fit, Kelly!

Is there an extension that goes on the stinger to extend through your 1” hole?

Woooo eeeeee! Now you’re talking!:fist_pump: Actually, I believe it would be relatively inexpensive for fuel, given a spark ignition with variable timing is now available (no nitro necessary)! Think YS185zero. I would love to have a straight alky plane! Keep going back and forth between the...

    3D 20cc Giles 202 Profile

Your tolerancing on your fits were just too tight ;), haha! Would be really tough to make everything perfectly square to line up without a jig. Very impressed with your design.

Snoopy, my 2.7m JTEC extra (with the DA 100) wings are too big for 100cc wing bags (by a couple of inches) so I just bought the 150cc wing bags from Valley View RC. They are a little big but work just fine. Nice bags too. Figured I could fit anything I wanted to in the future.

    AJ 93" Laser Reflex build/assembly!!!

Craig: Just looking at the hole in front of the carb on the EF 78” extra and the VVRC 40. This was in 2014 when only the inlet holes were directed to the cylinders (typical baffling). Peak temps were 323F. Putting tape over the hole in front of the carb resulted in peak temps of 296F (27 degree...

    AJ 93" Laser Reflex build/assembly!!!

I can get you data, but won’t be until next week as I am not home. But rough order of magnitudes are 30-40 degrees less. This is based on an EF 78” Extra w VVRC 40cc twin and on the EF MXS with DA 120. I did a lot of testing with various baffling and outlet scenarios on the VVRC (mine) so I have...
