    If I remember right, I measured the correct distance back at the wing tips on both sides and then run a string across from one side to the other and the it is right near the center of the carbon tube. I think! It sucks getting old! lol

    I had no problem mounting my DA-60 using my mount on my Edge, it is similar to the Blazing Star. I wouldn't think that the GP-61 would be any different.

    I ask him were he had his Red Bull theme done, and got no reply. I just wanted a new place to be able to go to have some custom work done. I think he told someone it was a one off kinda thing. In my opinion I think he wants to keep it to himself and I don't blame him!

    I would check that the holes in the dle 55 drill guide line up with the prop bolts on the engine by running the bolts through the guide into the engine first. In my experience it my look close but may be slightly different.

    91" Extra 300-EXP ARF

    Put two more flights on the Extra today, I'm liking it more and more. The DA-60 w/ MTW pipe seems to be plenty of power even know the engine only has about 30 minutes run time.

    Hot Tip! I saw Gary Hoffman's DA-60 choke rod mount that he made for himself, and ask him to make me a few. They work great on mine and gives you more room in the inside of the motor box and is less complicated to setup.

    Daniel, so far so good, just got one flight on it. Everything was new om this plane, the DA-60 w/MTW pipe had about 5 minutes pre-run before the maiden and ran great. I think my balance ended up about 1/4"-3/8" behind the backside of the carbon tube. What would you suggest for the rates and...

    It was better than perfect weather today here in Springfield, MO. Finally got to go and maiden the Extra, wish I would have had the 92" Edge done in time to take it too.

    He said to use red rtv kinda thick, he also said that Arron Bates and himself have used them all season and have had good luck with them staying in place.

    Want to thank Gary Hoffman for making and sending me these cool little 3d printed DA-60 choke brackets. Makes it way easier and adds some bling. I think he can print them in several colors.

    I thought of replacing the new unrun DA-60 w/RE2 that's on my new 91 extra and putting it on the 92 edge and buying the DA-70 for the 91 Extra 300 since it is a little light on the nose anyway.
