Hey... anything below 32 is freezing... just saying.

Yeah, I was thinking to flip it over and see if that helped. Thanks, Terry! I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm reading that the Rcexl ignition is not compatible with the DA ignitions. Oh well.

Terry, I have so many questions for you all the time. haha I'll start with a couple about this carb and ignition... 1) 3 reeds touch and one is just slightly not touching... does the compression take care of all of that? Or do they all need to be touching on the bench? I think it is a blown...

Got the new carb on and lengthened the pushrod to change my throttle curve manually. Got the 33-11w on there, might go try all this out today. :)

BTW, that drill press shown there, that I just got off Amazon... keeps drilling my props "one time perfect".

I put up some R-13 on the garage door... had to... did you see the temp the other night? 55 degrees! Last night down to a brutal 60! My little heater got it up to 72 pretty quickly last night after the insulation board install. :)

Yeah... I just try to make sure the engine and pipes don't block them at most orientations... mostly... or actually I just stopped worrying with the 6014. haha

I don't know. haha Three planes since I've been back... I've run them three different ways... all worked. Dual 7008s in the Yak got the shortest range check distance (with stock mufflers, too). Sukhoi and Extra have tune pipes and single 6014 and the range check distance is as far as you can...

It is, man! Got loose cable ties on there that aren't even clipped. haha Did you see those 8" thin cable ties? I should have started using those YEARS ago. Doh!

New carb should be here today. 33-11w prop showed up yesterday, also a 30-13evo light. Gotta try all that. I have a model picked out for the photoshoot... so plenty to do still!

I picked up some long thin cable ties... should make it easier to get them in hard to reach places.

Starting Your Plane by Yourself, 60ccc or Larger

Terry, help a brother out here, I've always thought that was the safest way possible. I'm behind the prop, not trusting something to keep the prop from getting at me. My hand clears probably faster out of the prop arc than from the front. I don't have to trust anything to keep me out of harms...

I've always preached lighter and stronger, too. So what you're saying makes total sense. I did think that the unbuilt motorbox of the Pilot planes would make bolting on a 200 just as easy as bolting on a 170. :) I almost bought the DLE 222 a couple of months ago but heard they aren't as...
