    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Just for grins... 57 seconds in on this video... is a clip from the 3rd flight on a new engine (it's the only reason that clip is in the video)... the 170 pulls the plane straight up out of a hover: My new 170 is even stronger. And, when I'm flying my 122" Extra and hit the throttle it feels...

Just trailer that thing out to SoCal with me and Randy for a weekend. :)

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Joe says no stock last time I called him. Tavis says he might sell me one of the six he has. haha I do want to hear a 4 cyl humm'n along someday. :epic::sneaky:

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Ha! Yeah, lots of good to report... and a few of my own gripes. :gnashing: (funny that smilie says "livid" but I think it looks like a big toothy grin type thing... that's how I've been using it). <shrug> I think it's a good tailwheel, though. Ground handling is solid, and I'm on a paved...

I ordered a Falcon 33-11W and DA is sending out a new carb and ignition. I got a new trash can for the shop, for some reason I liked the brand. haha

    IMAC Build: Dalton Extra 300

You're making me want to build a kit. I would build the Dalton 300, too. Like the one I had. How many hours do you have in this thing?

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

That would be interesting... but I never went high pitch in the old days, felt like a pylon racer. haha I did buy a Mejzlik 30-13evofl because Tony Russo told me to (did I ever mention that guy is ornery? haha I kid! I kid!), and it's a good prop, but it makes any plane I put it on too fast for...

That pinwheel sounds fun, @Xpress !

I think it's the pipes... they go way behind the CG. I put stock mufflers on the Yak55 and it was totally nose heavy. I put a pound of tailweight on it and it was still nose heavy.

At 31 seconds into the last video I posted... is that a crankshaft? We used to just call it a horizontal tumble. hehe

BTW, I went to charge my batteries last night in the garage around 11pm... That's just some BS right there! :ghost: <<<--- I'm using the ghost smilie as a snowman!

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

I'm glad, I like it! I keep doing the same, like now... What manuevers match up to all these new names? I figured out poptop, I figured out rifle roll, what are the rest? What is a crankshaft, for instance?

That's what I remember about A-123s, too. I was running them when I quit 8 years ago and thinking they were the endall battery. They still are for power tools. And, the LiFe's are the same Lithium iron phosphate.
