    Sport 184" Emmaselle II

This is my Emmaselle II project. I started it a while back and got it to the point of test flying, but I had a ESC problem, and never liked the original wing design. This plane was heavy and a turd. So I will post a few build photos to bring it up to date, then starting this week end post the...

    Scale 180" C130 Project

And this is also why I have been a bit slow on things. I wanted to keep it off the radar as I never get anything done on time, but I really want to get the EII flying. I had guy reach out to me about scaling my EII down to a smaller version. While I was rescaling it I just couldn't get over how...

    Scale 180" C130 Project

Had never seen those. Thanks!!!!! That was the test fly day that end in two aborted take offs. Just didn't have enough power to fly. Later I found out my ESC was not calibrated with my radio and I was only getting 70% power. Thanks for posting buddy!!!!! Damon:):):)

    Scale 180" C130 Project

All my planes for the last 10 years have been 100% scratch, except a few PZ type foam planes. Both my Emmaselle, and EII were 100% made up in my mind and I just built them. The C130 has always been one of my loves. Plus my B36 will fly one day, just one hold right now..... DAG:):):)

    Scale 180" C130 Project

I got derailed on my gear doors by the placement and wiring on my limit switches. With adjusting travel and moving the two gear closer together I saw I could shorten a bunch of wire by putting my primary limits inboard, and my over-travel outboard. So I have tom update my 3D and make sure it...

    Scale 180" C130 Project

Got a bunch done yesterday. I feel now that I know what will work, and what needs to be adjusted a bit. These mock-ups have done their jobs. I just have to finish the gear door linkage and test that, then I am ready to start making the gear system which will be in the plane. What will be...

    Scale 180" C130 Project

Thanks, keep in mind this is just that mock-up. Just to make sure everything works right. The one which will be used will have a bit shorter travel, u-joints from the motor to the lead screw, and the two systems will be .5" closer. These are all the adjustments I figured out I need. DAG:)

    Scale 180" C130 Project

Well this week has been a mess. First I spent a ton of time re-wiring my limits switches to a cool harness then realized I had wired me primary limits as my over-travel limits. Darn thing won't work like that. Then I had a old jumper that had a bad solder joint, but not being on the ball I...

    Scale 180" C130 Project

A buddy started working on a micro processor for my main gear control. He did some really cool work, but life derailed him as it does for many of us. So I was talking with a buddy (Birger) a few weeks ago about just going back to a manual control of my gear activation and door. My buddy stated...
