    It amazes me when using my table saw with a coarse,carbide tipped saw how clean and smooth the cuts turn out. I use mine for truing sheeting and sizing some balsa. Never tried cutting the ail,elev,rudder stock like you are doing. I do basically the same thing, but use my band saw.

    But, that's the nice thing about working with balsa. And yes it is looking very nice! A bodyman's eye catches lots that others would not see at all.;)

    Nice ! Good to see something different. And Yes a CAP can be designed to not be snappy. I modified the old Great Planes .60 size kit to fly like a pattern plane years ago. It stalled straight ahead and wings level. and did it at very slow airspeeds. Those were the notorious CAP 21's. Moved...

    I made one similar to yours. Works great, even with a regular table saw blade. Just don't use it in my shop... Sure will make lots of dust and a mess on the floor.:mad:

    3D Covering???

    I have done many planes with Ultracoat and then painted the trim. Works great if done right,but makes repairs a bit complicated.

    Very Nice. The Fuse and cowl blend into each other just right! But... That's what we were suspecting would be the case.;)
