    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

I know its not a bomber.... but I thought it would be cool to drop candy out or something during a scale event. Maybe I'm crazy... but this thing is looking way to cool, and the size...... I would be in awe if I seen something like that at my field!

3D to iBEc or not to iBEc that is my question

What do you all think? Should it be a requirement??? It is not a bad safety rule, and when you all answer me...... be sensible, I know some of you are tired of all the rules and politics! Think about the question, then use your heads, do not just get bent out of shape!

Just curios... Rick, have you ever tried laying a part up in a mold with Carbon Fiber Cloth? I know it wouldn't be cost effective for a kit... but I was thinking of trying something different for the look I want.

What I recommend, is that you order the kit (while they are on sale!!!) and cubby whole that thing away for a bit.... Then when your ready, there is no question on what to build! Besides you never know what may happen, you could need a plane to put some gear into sooner than a couple years...

Terry, I know you have answered me before on this... but, In the picture of the canopy where you show both your work, and the Yellow finished one, do you then apply covering over the top of the canopy and hatch to make the seam a nice even transition?

    Glassing and Painting techniques

Thanks Terry, I was also wondering that because of the type of plastic. I have done this same thing with some automotive lenses, and without scuffing, it would peel a short time down the road. However, on some interior areas, I couldn't even scrape it off. Very interesting how different plastics...

Did you just use a permanent marker to mark a 45* angle directly in the table of the sander? Brilliant!
