    I'm no expert but there may be small misconception of what red cap is to be used for. I wouldn’t use it to fill dips or low spots or weave fill. If used it should be for pin hole type finishing. It's also best if used on parts that can be wet sanded out.

    Jetpainter..you are correct about the ease to assemble..I won’t finalize a design on any biplane till I have a proof of concept on that. I think there would be more biplanes out there if it wasn't a pita at the field. I am working on a few ideas for this concept.
