Discussion The I’m going out flying thread 2018

That is so awesome! Good for you! Did I tell ya or what? Only one thing I would do different than you. Don't back the throws off. Give that lil girl all she's got. Dial in expo and set your dual/triple rates. She'll calm down like an old gray mare if you want her to. But with a flip of a switch...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Four channels? It can actually be quite painless and easy to do. And it should really only utilize one extra channel. If using a gas engine, you'll be using one channel for your spark/ignition activation. This is very standard and common for all gas engine applications. Glow on the other hand...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Silly as it may be, I actually used a starter on my 32cc gasser on my Cessna. I guess I was too fat and lazy to bend down that far. Hence, why I have big planes that swing big props. I don't have to stoop as far. Lol. Originally the Cessna had a Saito 180 on it with on board electric starter. I...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

There is probably going to be a delay. I could have posted for you guys. Supa Tim took his family on a little vacation down to Florida. They were supposed to be closed until yesterday. So, things may be a little slow until he gets caught up. But trust and believe, he's all over those orders by now.

LMAO...I Know exactly what you mean. Though I have not witnessed someone hucking a warbird, (which I can only imagine how beyond unbelievable it would be) I have witnessed some pretty good stuff. Just like you Doug, I keep thinking I need to be on my knees and prasing them for "I"....am just not...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Whoo hoo!! They made it. Finally...!!! What? you may ask? Look what the postman brought today. I have been thinking for a long time of getting up to speed on my setups. My previous have been flawlessly perfect and can't complain. But recently I have had an issue with the 3.1M Sukhoi. I am...

Well I am not great. I really have only mastered a couple or three tricks. But I keep trying. I just watch people like "Gabby", "Kyle", Joe Smith, and so many others and it is like...why? Why would I even want to try? They are sooooo good. Then of course ya got people like Supa Tim Hanstine...

Due to the shape of the wing, I would have to agree with you. A streamlined round cowl Sbach :yesss:

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I know a young man that had one and he asked me to maiden it, trim it and basically check it all out. Nice little plane. I would not offer this advice, but you "DID" ask.... so, "FLY IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT". LOL. Pretty cool little plane.

Wouldn't it be so sweet to see these planes in real time? Only thing is though, with so many of them the same color and scheme...I would probably try to fly the wrong one while mine found it's way back to mother earth in a most unpleasant way.

Never really liked the Laser. But this one has been done really well. I think I could like it a lot. Very pretty.

    Hostetler Cessna 336 Skymaster

It is a deep in the pit gut wrenching and sickening feeling when something like this happens. I am so sorry. Kind of bites that following the directions is what caused this terrible mishap. :cryin:
