    MVVS 116

I've seen some in first hand, old IRS and the new NP. I can tell you that these engines will rip most of the known 120 props, its a different class. I prefer the NP over the IRS, cause of the drop down crab is much easier to adjust, not that you'll need it, but it seems that its much easier to...

    Prop Rip

Trial and error I guess. Nothing can defeat that. If you can have your hand on both props i.e large Dia and big pitch or small Dia and large pitch do it and test trial your engine for that. It will give us more experience and you a non ripping engine. And as for whooping I always thought about...

    Prop Rip

From my experience, in this category of props, because you took a much bigger prop to spool it will be hard for the engine to do it with a heavier prop like the Biela and the airfoil is much thicker, take the Mejzlik for that just because it will be easier for the engine to spool it.

    Prop Rip

I was for 3 blade too, and for some time, i did use it on my old DA 150, but since I've got a high torque engine Im for 2 blades, big Dia big pitch, you cant get wrong with that. With 3 blades you just need to tune the tail on every up line you do and with 2 blades it just doesnt happen, and the...

    Prop Rip

Try the 30-10 you'll need the same pitch as the 29 you had at first but 1" bigger in Dia. I have the same thing with my MVVS 175 31-12 just rip the hell of the prop with more than 6200 rpm but when I put the 32-12 it's like a baby 5850 static.

    Prop Rip

Breaking the speed of sound. It's the supersonic boom. Not good cause it stales the tips and than the prop it self. To solve it just put a more bigger Dia prop to make LESS RPM

    Permatex

I never use a gasket since it burns and loos it's thickness so I just apply some red regular permatex on both sides not before I sand the surface of both the header and cylinder and then let it dry for an hour or so and only then tighten the bolts. Works like a charm and never had a leek or a...
