    2016 Knowns & new website

Planning on moving to Sportsman next year and saw the new Knowns. This is going to be a blast! The new site has a couple of quirks with IE 10, but other than that I like it!

I just find good used ones and buy the parts a little at a time to make them new again :) It is the only way I can afford a 3W :) Once you have one, it is hard to run anything else. The 3W has grunt which is different than DA power, but both are power house engines! Have had both and would run...

    Prop bolts....what's the consensus?

I believe you need to redo one of the wires. You have 1 turn to many per inch :)

QQ Special Edition 102" Yak 54. My first Yak and it flies great! Nice and slow down lines and almost axial aileron rolls :) It has the gear from the Extra in it. That 106 CS is turning into a monster! I fly the whole Basic routine at about 2/3 throttle with no trouble at all.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Went out and maidened a new to me QQ 102" Yak. It flew like a dream. I have Savox 1256 servos in the wings and elevators, 7955 on the rudder and a 5645 on the throttle. A 3W 106CS under the hood swinging a Falcon 28x9. What a nice flying plane! Feels totally locked on. Snaps stop instantly and...

    That perfect plane...

I guess the one plane that I could fly blindfolded was a ScatCat with a 32 on a pipe! That plane was a blast! I flew it so much I elongated the wing pin holes. Finally after 12 years and 3 piston and sleeves, I let it go. My latest go to plane is my 42% Pilot Edge 540 with a 3W-150 TOC on...
