Anyone have a good source for Radio set-up

Seeing that this thread is about set-ups, can anyone please fully explain how to set up a throttle curve. I'm sure that I am not the only one who doesn't understand it, so this might be a good place to get it out in the open. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out.

Where should build and assembly threads be? POLL, please vote!

I agree with @acerc that Kit builds should be kept separate from ARF assemblies.

Sport 30% Edge 540 Pete Marshall Plans with Laser Cut Short Kit

Way to go @Bluepilot2003. I've been following your build here and you have given me the incentive to finish mine that I started last year. I have the fuse almost done, and the tail feathers are also done. I just have to build the wings and I'll be done as well. I'm going to power mine with a...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Glad you were able to find them. Use .047 music wire in stead of the cotter pins and you will have removeable control surfaces.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Hey there Snoopy1, those look like Dubro Heavy Duty 1/4 scale hinges (Dubro part # 257). They come in a package of 15 hinges with cotter pins as in the attached pics. I take the cotter pins out and replace them with .047 music wire to get remove-able controls as shown in the attached photo. Just...

    3D Hinges

When gluing hinges, just remember to dry fit the surface and run it through its range of motion before the glue sets. For example, when gluing aileron hinges, put your epoxy or whatever glue you use in the wing hinge slot, install the hinges, then install the aileron with no glue on the aileron...

    Fun while she lasted

I agree with @boggintuff, that plane sure looked repairable to me. I understand you were a little p-o'd that it crashed, but it was a shame you trashed your work of art. It was a really well done aircraft that could have lived for another day. Regards, Dennis
