    Scale Pitts S1-T, S1-S, and a Challenger.

Yeah....there's not much of a gap on the T ailerons, so the Velcro inserted under the trailing edge of the wing (top and bottom of each wing) sealed it as the aileron nose rotated against it. Initially I was skeptical that it would work, but after testing we found it did increase the roll rate...

    Scale Pitts S1-T, S1-S, and a Challenger.

Yes I realize that....I was just responding to the comment regarding full scale and flutter. We used to use tape to seal the gaps and then some inventive person came up with the slide-in rubber strips. On ailerons tape was used for S1-C and S series to help roll rate. When the S1-T came out...

The gap seals on the full scale are to make the control surface a bit more effective, by stopping air from bleeding thru. Has nothing to do with flutter. Cheers and keep building!!!

IMAC Dalton Yak 54, 38% please submit suggestions here....

To be honest (favorite saying of my wife!) it's surprising to me regarding the slippage on blacktop. Completely opposite my experiences over the past 5 or 6 years. I did have one of the soft compound tires (ordered by mistake) that got chewed up quickly. I'll stick with the hard...

Never had any problems with mine. My old home flying field was a paved private strip. I could see where concrete might be an issue but a macadam surface was fine.

Servos best power and holding power

Currently running three HiTec 7955TG's on my 42% Raven rudder. Am thinking about replacing these with 2 more powerful servos, such as the MKS777 or equivalent. Save a bit of weight and batt draw. And yes, before you ask I've experimented and the Raven needs more than 2 of the 7955's can...

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

I guess my thoughts would have lead me to pre-bend a leading edge-length piece that would reach to the center of the spar on top and bottom. Of course that would require a butt joint along that line to cover the back 1/2 of the wing. Just thinking out loud. Can't wait to see your results...

Good luck Roger! I would have thought You'd bend it around a form first before gluing and cutting. Of course never having done this, I'm just guessing at it.
