    Which smoke pump

    Harris pumps have been trouble free for me. No experience with the others. Smoke oil residue isn't too bad once you have things set up right. BUT when a hose splits or pops off a fitting having a fuse dripping oil (from the inside) is a REAL PITA!!!!

    DA 150L vs 170?

    I can't compare the 170 but my standard DA150 on RE3 pipes and Mej 28.5x12s 3-blade has plenty of power in my 42% Raven. I fly advanced IMAC....it will do the unlimited sequence although at high density altitudes it would suffer on that setup.

    Welcome to GSN Kim. I was at Black Dirt competing. I had the 42% Raven flying advanced. Sorry I didn't get to meet you. IMAC is a blast to fly....really teaches one how to be ahead of the plane instead of just reacting to it.

    Mad Aerobatics

    Riding through aerobatics is harder to endure than when you're the pilot doing them. Although I have a friend who always got queasy when I was working with him (in his own Pitts S2-B). He stayed with it and eventually got over that issue.
