    DA 120 with onboard Tach.

Nice! Very clean. Did you tap blind holes,or drill through? Reason I ask, is that I do not know what the crank support looks like at the end. I opted for the lazy route this go around. Perfect solution is to drill and tap some holes.

    DA 120 with onboard Tach.

Here is what I did to add the rpm telemetry (spektrum TM1000) to my DA 100 without the extra mounting holes already existing. I used an RCexcl hall effect pickup and cut off the mounting ears. Used a fat popsicle stick and cut out where the sensor goes. Had to glue the sensor in upside down to...

Turnigy TGY-i10 full telemetry 10 ch computer radio

ooh. I missed the 10c part. You've got some cool stuff going on. That 5 # is very light! I haven't weighed mine.... Regardless, it is one heck of a flyer! 16x8 the way to go? Better punch out of a hover than the 15x7? Are you seeing much temp differences between the two props?

Turnigy TGY-i10 full telemetry 10 ch computer radio

Interesting. with the Torque motor, the EF 60" extra, and a 15x7 APC I am getting 6.5 minutes on Glacier 6s 3300's (30c) batts at around 22.6volts. Very cool photo! Liking the MXS?

Maiden is done! Had another 5 fantastic and exhilerating flights after that! A bit short on photos, but had one hell of a time. One year and eight months of off and on building are now put to rest. Couldn't be happier with the results. Had a bit of scare in the beginning as alarm for high temps...

    Molded fiberglass fuel tanks?

You need to use a marine grade (or better) epoxy to make a tank. Even then, check for compatibility with the fuel. I believe the gas will soften the fiberglass resin with extended contact.
