    More rpm's means more prop noise though doesn't it ? Wont matter of its not used for IMAC though, did you get db ratings when tested ? Just wondering.

    And... this is what happens when you grab the wrong grit sanding bar and got a little aggressive hurrying, sanded right down to the dyed resin used to bag the wing, thank goodness I used rit dye or i might of sanded right to the foam core, stupid error, Repaired w/ acp 1/2oz cloth and west...

    How many of you are running the new DA150L?

    What about weight vs prop choice? A 38 lb plane with a 32x10 and a 40lb plane better off with a 32x12 or other way around? Talking IMAC style flying. And is testing a wood prop the same as running a carbon ? Ive found that answer to be no myself, these tests get expensive ! Good thread.

    Oh, and of course a repair section or thread, its an inevitable and required skill. These days I take pride instead of shame for a well done repair. A " how-to" discretely change your shorts at the field after your first dead stick with new flying piggy bank !

    Was thinking... if you razor plane and sand down those TE &LE on the hinge stock, you might lose a few degrees of throw but could still use those horns you have, as long as you have 25-30° up n down travel its all good. Just an idea.

    Sounds like your being very detailed about the re-do of this airframe, im sure you've gone over every inch of it, only one good way to find out now ! good thing about the maiden.. you wont be sitting in it ! Id go easy on those first snap rolls though :concern:

    What I dig about this hobby is when your flying, all thoughts, like what you said.. work and people and problems, all fade away and all there is , is the next manouver the next line, zero thoughts but your flight and a good landing, like minded people and all the clever hobby related chit chat...
