    Was thinking about doing that but right now I'm still trying to decide if I am going to fill in the hole for the old switch location or make a tool kit compartment and door. Plane got a bunch of clamps on it right now while the hysol cures for the next 24 hours.

    Maybe I will get back to my old ways maybe not. Used to get em to the deck routinely but for now it's just "joy riding" and "huck it high" :) Remember...... I'm doing a CUB now. 26cc's of quarter scale adrenaline :D.

    Got a bit more done on the cub repair. The rear wing attach block and door side frame fractures have been repaired with 4-40x1.75" SS screws. Drilled and tapped all locations and chased the threads with thin CA. Solid as a rock now and I can pick up the fuse by the door frame alone. I grinded...

    Shot a short video which I will call Test 5. Plane is dialed in pretty well now and the DL50 even though pretty rich on the low end is starting to break in and delivering huge power for it's displacement. Remember this is a 20 pound bird. Plane will show every :oops: mistake I make but recovers...

    Got out and flew some on the Alien today. When I got home a box was waiting for me to open from @Decal Dennis :). New stickers not on it in the pic's but it's a higher resolution pic from my buddies camera. Much better quality than I had posted earlier.

    Wanted DA or DLE 50/55

    I had that plane. Really good looking bird. Flew it with a big saito twin. Saw a DA50 for 325 over yonder on FG classifieds. But if I was in your shoes I would be willing to try an AGM 55. Dirt cheap NIB on ebay.

    There are a few poisonous snakes in my neck of the woods but most common I see on the property are King snakes, Water Mocks, Eastern Diamond Back Rattlers. Now at first I thought it was a small King snake (non poisonous) until it coiled up and started shaking the tip of its tail. Rattler noise...

    All in all it is in really good shape. Really enjoying it in the shop. Looks like all the damage came about from a spin out on a take off roll. Takes a gentle touch on the throttle and staying ahead on rudder with a big cub. Appreciate the help with the paint. Just going to touch up some areas...

    Started going over the wing on the cub. Repairing struts and had to remount two 4-40 blind nuts that hold struts to wing. Going to get a towel bath tonight :) but not by a sweet little red headed nurse :(.
