Sport Idiot Boy Builds an Old School World Engines Robin Hood 99 Kit

I haven't looked in in a while and it's still not done! Come on Mike! :lol2: Oh wait a minute, all I need to do to my scratch build is glue in the aileron hinges and balance it and I haven't touched it in weeks, so I guess I shouldn't be the one to talk. :face-palm:

Scale 25% Krier Kraft build, a tribute to grampa.

The fabrics are awesome for staying tight and not looking like a Shar-Pei puppy after being in the sun. This pic kinda reminds me of my green Pilot Edge hatch after a day at the field.;)

Proton! The latest Pitts Model 12

When I take on a car to restore for a customer I'll only do one for a guy that I think will get it. By that I mean knows what it takes to do a project like that. When you get the right guy it's awesome!

The Pitts is looking great! I haven't been on the site much lately, my 93 year old father has been having some issues. Things seem to be back to normal for now. Can't wait to see some finish pics!

That's what I foind in the cowl of a Carf Extra 330L that I bought. It weighed almost 3 pounds. The bet part was it didn't need any weight. That is what happens when you try and balance 100mm from the leading edge at the root instead of at the tip like your supposed to. The CG was more than an...

    Another new DX-18 !!

A lot of the Spektrum problems in the early days that I saw were from guys trying to run 4.8 volt nicads with lots of servos. A VERY bad combination with Spektrum. I run a lot of Spektrum receivers and have never had a problem, but I run redundant batteries with plenty of voltage. I think most...

Yeah I bet the guys that bought the PowerSafe telemetry receivers don't see a lot of humor in it, but it is funny.:lol2:

I was wondering if you might have some compatibility issues with the Rustoleum, but when the red went on okay I thought you'd be alright. Rustoleum is pretty slow drying stuff for the most part. I was wondering about something else, the red and purple are basecoat colors right? Why are they...

I basecoat has a problem I run into sometimes with white. It has a tenancy to get what we call "seedy". The white pigment separates from the binder and balancer and gets lumpy, causing lots of issues. It normally only happens after you reduce the color for use, but don't use it all. When you go...

I thought the Typhoon is the 78" airplane isn't it? A power expander sounds like over kill for that size plane in my opinion. something like a Spektrum 9020 should be more than enough for that airplane.
