    Finally starting to get my new shop in some order, although still have more boxes to go through. Bought a very nice Grizzly mill/drill from my cousin...so now I can butcher metal as well as wood :lol2:. And yes, that's the Krill sitting up on the shelf awaiting paint :confused??:.

    Preventative Maintenance

    This is my approach as well. And before every contest, I'll pull the spinner to check prop bolt torque. Also pull the cowl to give a look/tug on everything. When ironing out wrinkles (HATE them!!!) also check for broken sheeting, etc beneath. I got sick of logging stuff back in the full...

    Late to the game, but to answer the original question...for me; I love flying aerobatics, always have....from my early full scale IAC days to present Giant scales fly precision aerobatics better/easier than smaller planes I can now watch my own sequences (instead of being in it)....basically...

    Yes it was!!! That pic goes back about 6 years....it was my 1st giant scale (30% 3DHS Extra). Got another a few weeks later....at least it lasted a few years before I strained it through a tree!:lol2:

    Congrats on your move! I feel your pain.....moving sucks....even more so when you're in your 60's :lol2:. We are heading into our 3rd month in our new home and I still haven't gotten my shop squared away...but it's slowly coming along.
