Here's another favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DJlc13sOKw If the guy holding the plane hadn't had that extra toast for breakfast that morning, he would have been airborne! :)

It was great to finally meet you. We're all keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and I promise to take good care of the Slick (in other words huck the living daylights out of her). Safe travels back to GA.

Nah.. It's really just me being envious of "High Times" Gluck for having more, bigger and better planes. :)

Yeah, that should give you another 100' or so in added vertical visibility... :)

My sickness just took a turn for the worse. I now own an electric 71" Slick.

    HeadsUpRC FirePower 46 Sport

I have one and it runs very cool. Haven't measured, but my guess is somewhere around 120F. Lots of power, although maybe not as insane as the Motrolfly 3615, but considering the price, its not bad at all.

3DHS Fly Low In (East) July 11,12,13,14 Washington, New Jersey 6th Annual

Are we getting excited yet? Dan, Glenn and I were flying at GCA yesterday and the field is in perfect condition after the grading and flattening! Dan did some aerating of the grass with the tail of his 70" Slick, so it will get even better! :)

Hopefully all I have to do is to hook a new Hall sensor.

Good plan! I know a lot of people with great careers who did their first year or two in a smaller, less known college and then transferred. At the end of the day, all people care about is where you graduated from and once you have a few years of work experience, they won't even care about that...

    72" Extra 330SC

Looks great, Ashleigh! You'll have that thing flying in no time! I'm happy you stuck with it and fixed it instead of selling it!

Yeah, yeah, yeah... You fly lower than me... :) Next time I see you, you'll see tail touches with my 51. OK? :)

Just got back from the field. I put seven flights on the 51 Slick today and if my ears weren't there to stop it, my smile would have gone all the way around my head. What a confidence inspiring plane! And the way is just ignores wind is amazing. Man, I got the sickness bad!

I just checked mine (brand new with three flights on it), and I can wiggle the servo a little bit using just my a two-finger grip. It's actually the entire side of the fuse that moves. As you say, there isn't a lot of wood in front of the servo, so the side tends to have a bit of "give"...
