    well that depends on the damage that occurred,,, did the piston melt or did something break off and,,, etc. In this instance, as evident by the grey color of the spark plug, the piston melted due to a lean condition because of the gasket losing its seal.

    To help keep the Cylinder Base Gasket in place, use an automatic Spring Punch to make little dimples on the gasket mating surfaces.     The other thing about 3W engines is they have more compression than most other engines. They always run best when tuned on the rich side of the house.
