    3D BH Design 50% Edge 540

The issue about removing or trying to remove weight is the effect it will have on the airframes structural integrity. I also agree with Bunky>>> I think that it is great that you are pushing the envelope and trying new things. But it should not be with this model. He's already attacked me...

    3D BH Design 50% Edge 540

The weight of a 3W275 15.5lbs Minus the weight of a 176 8.5lbs = 7lbs of lead in the nose. The CG range is ahead of the wing tube and thats what those black lines going across the fuselage are for on that particular plane with the wings installed. Hate to say,,, bad idea with that little...

    bizarre issue with airplane

Erratic travel, Centering and end points on known good servos are indications of a bad TX pot,,, make no diff on the engine running or not.

    bizarre issue with airplane

just make the remote antennas are positioned to form a "+" or a "X" and you'll be ok and then rebind. After that next flight plug in the data logger to see how they are performing.

Why do you use HV and / or why don't you?

I've recently gone HV on my new 50% YAK. Crisp control on all surfaces no doubt but I find myself dialing in more expo than I normally would use on a standard 5.5 to 6 volt airplane.

    Sport BH 50% YAK55M

For my wing bolts I reversed engineered them with a standard 1/4 x 20 bolt, a castellated nut and a safety pin. I used one bolt as a guide as to how long the others needed to be by cutting off the head and screwing into the wing mounted to the fuselage. Then installed a washer and the nut. I...

Hi Joe, yes indeedee and then some! First couple of flights was for just getting the feel of things. Ailerons were just right and the elevator settings I had were on the soft side of things but that was ok. L/H spins were very predictable but going to the right required some input to help with...

    The Happiness is thread

Kevin, it went AWSOME! I had the shakes for the first min or 2 but after a few passes it was just AWSOME! The 3W275 has plenty of grunt on tap so no worries there. My little assembly thread is here,,, http://giantscalenews.com/threads/bh-50-yak55m.2424/ BV
