Been busy getting my buddies MXSR ready for a Maiden. The DLE 60 twin is going to give this one foamy like performance!:) Looking like a take off weight will be 16.5 to 17.5 pounds. Might have to get me one for the DL50 and put the Pilot on the back burner. These MXSR's fly really good and it...

Bout got my buddies MXSR wrapped up. Had to repair some shipping damage inside the fuse. The last former before the rudder fin had been crushed. Did not have any florescent green covering so I just peeled it back and made a surface to iron it down to. Sealed up the seams with scotch tape...

"Drop in replacement" ease has always been a great marketing tool. My "drop in" choices to replace the DL50 in the Extra 330 are DJ72, GP61, EME60 and RCGF60. Of course DJ72 wins out because of the "dollar to displacement ratio" along with the "Drop in replacement". In that regard it's a "Drop...

Now that I can think and I can focus on the task at hand........ Was able to use the mounting plate of the DLE60 to modify the tool I had made for mounting the DL50. Turns out the cross hairs on this plane were pretty dead on. Just need to drill the holes for 1/4-20 bolts.

Thanks! There new 12 channel does look nice. For the time being going to stick with G2 8ch. It's actually more radio than I need but having more channels is always nice. Best Wishes with your Viper ST and DA120. The 120 is pure animal. Just wish it wasn't so sensitive with the tune on canisters...

No doubt the EME is a fine 70 twin. But....and just sayin.....The new VVRC/RCGF 70 twin has been said to be very comparable to the DA70 twin in power and weight. I have flown the EME70 and of course your DA70 ;). With that said I would try the VVRC. Same price as the EME but performs like the DA:).

Yes it is! And the wings too. Except in the wings don't cut holes but cut uniformed sections out to form what looks like ribs. Just be sure to make the middle rib or inner/ outer ribs (Multiple servo wing) wide enough to hold the servo mounts. As they say a penny saved is a penny earned. The...

Well I have to say the new AR9140T has my respect. Them 5 BLS H50B servos pulled 42 amps peak. And they did a really good job holding the huge control surfaces. Flight log showed no failsafe or holds. 0 data packets lost on all 4 receivers. I'm really likin this Spektrum Gear. I just updated the...

I am very pleased with the engine. Just think when It goes back on a 15-16 pound plane :). Once broke in I would like to try a Falcon 24x9 carbon prop. I really think it could turn it 6800 or better static.

OK so the future is now the past o_O. Was able to get to the club field before curfew and got a couple in. The vid is the second flight before packing it in for the evening. On the first flight I checked it all out with all the weight being far forward. Had to keep the elevator on midrate or...

Truthfully.......It's his :yesss:. He sold the PAU Edge for a lighter airframe and likes the way the MXS flies. This should be a very good plane for him. He had one previous which I got to pull at the sticks and I was very impressed how well it flew. After seeing this plane I wish I had got it...
