    Wing panels done which means PLANE IS DONE! Let's hope not "done for" . As it is now with batteries all the way forward, and the added 8oz of weight my stand offs made, the plane balances at 6.5 inches from the LE. The manual states 6 and 2/5" for 27% MAC so I think it is going to be neutral...

    Made the part from lazer cut scrap pieces that I save. Did not have a 3mm blind nut but plenty of 3mm hex nuts. It worked :).

    It is. I stayed up too late working on it and when I went to install the stabs my exhaustion turned in to :devil-dance:. But small things like that really don't bother me :rolleyes:. Making the part in just a bit ;).

    Stabs/Elevators are done but a piece of lazer cut wood that helps hold the left stab in place is missing from construction from the factory. Top Notch construction??? I spoke too soon :oops:.

    Going to have to spend more time in the shop on my Extra than expected. The doubler that carries the 3mm blind nut for the left stab forward mounting screw and carries the stab anti rotation pin is completely missing :mad:. Just when I was starting to really like this ARF :face-palm:. At least...

    Compared to the EF91 the cowl on mine is bigger in height. Like wise compared to the V1 I had. I can see that about 1.5 inches has been added to the height where the cowl fits on the fuse or F1. And I added a 1" shim block to the fuse for the LG so prop clearance would be acceptable on the V1. I...

    Well it is on to the stabs!.....Now that all the "adjustments" and nik-nak stuff in the fuse are done. Some nik-nak stuff needed outside the fuse like adding covering so the cowl paint lines up with the covering. It is a really big cowl for this size plane and it does not look like an Extra...
