I did some rafting in the Delaware Water Gap a few years ago and I loved it. A wet suit is a must if you're not related to polar bears, though.

the funny thing about politics is that I'm pretty far to the right on a European political scale, whilst being considered almost a lefty here.. :) Yeah, I googled some mountain hiking trails and it looked amazing. I really wish there was a function for continuing a thread in a different...

You actually told me that a few weeks ago. But before that I had no idea and I now feel enlightened and a bit less like an ignorant immigrant. :) And thanks to you, visiting West Virginia is now on my bucket list! EDIT: And how ironic is it that it was once used to describe a left-leaning...

I wouldn't say it's boring. We had a guy who did DLG at my club after a rain storm last fall. During his first launch, he slipped and fell backwards in a huge pool of mud. To add insult to injury, his plane came crashing down 10 seconds later and hit him in the head. If that's not entertaining...

Yeah, I love it too! Hey, I hope you can bring your extra to the NJ FLI! James Rini, XSubsailor, you and I all have 30cc Extras. And Irg has an electric one (if he shows up). It would be quite an Extra-fest! :)

Happy to hear the whole gang is coming to WRAM! I'll stop by the booth for a chat. I'll be the slightly overweight middle-aged guy in a 3DRCF shirt with "NJSwede" on the back! Really looking forward to it!

I think that decision is up to Glenn. I would imagine there's a bit of a safety aspect in play when it comes to helis, night flying and craziness... :)

Service-Check up for Airboss Elite 80A?

There are actually ways electronics can get damaged, continue to work but eventually fail based on the initial damage. Here's a classic: You could have a hairline crack on a circuit board. Normally the conductors on the board are fine even though there's a crack, but if you flex the board ever...
